If we are to write a story about the special career of “Wazza” the white Pele, this page would not be enough to contain all the highlights, the goals, dribbles, the assist, and both the good and bad times. Yes, we have all definitely seen the good, the bad, and the ugly side of Wayne Rooney during his 19 illustrious years on the pitch, but all the story definitely comes back to him leaving the pitch as a legend.

At just 17 years of age he became the most expensive teenager in the game when he signed for Manchester United from Everton, and he went on to make 559 appearances for the club. He is also United all time leading goal scorer with 253 goals, and winning 16 trophies in the process including 5 Premier League titles and the 2008 UEFA champions League trophy.

He is also England’s all time leading goal scorer with 53 goals in 120 games but was sadly not able to deliver the Three Lions long-awaited success at a tournament.

The 35yrs old also made over 188 assist in the game, and also played for clubs like DC United in the MLS and Derby County in England where he has now been appointed as the Head Coach until 2023.

We wish you all the best in your new adventure Wayne !!!
